A lot has been happening and it's time to get you all up to speed on what is "Going On" in the ISA.
First and foremost, one of our National Presidents and a dear friend to all of us (Hallvard Flatland)
has been struck with a serious illness. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers as he
battles on a different court. We send him wishes for a speedy and full recovery from Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Japan, Norway and the USA.

My family and I hope that each and every one of you, had a safe and happy holiday season.
I trust you all, as I did, asked Santa Claus to grant you: one more year of good health, an arm that still shoots straight and eyes that can focus to the end of the court.(smile)  My family and I spent the holidays relaxing in the mountains near Rio de Janeiro and I played shuffleboard with myself on my private court each day.  I even won a few games so I really feel this will be a record breaking year for me in the game. hahaha...

On August 10th, 2012 we wrapped up one of the finest International Shuffleboard World Championships to date.
From 6 -10 August 2012 in Seattle, Wash. at the Granite Curling Club, 11 Mens Teams and 10 Ladies Teams with players from Australia, Brazil, Canada East and Canada West, England, Germany, Great Brittan, Netherlands, Norway, and USA East and West battled it out for a chance to take home a Gold, Silver or Bronze medal.
